General information for European train travel St Pancras’ beautiful gothic facade The big archway is the entrance to the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. The other archway just visible on the far right near the clock tower is the large open entrance from the forecourt onto the station’s upper level. You enter the station from the street, from the the Underground or from the taxi rank into the shopping arcade on the lower level of the station.
The Eurostar departures area with the row of ticket gates leading to the Eurostar departure lounge is located half way along the main arcade. There are toilets off the main arcade, and at the end of the arcade is the domestic ticket office, more shops and the left luggage office. Further beyond all this is the Eurostar Despatch office for sending bikes and parcels by Eurostar.
You reach the upper level by stairs, escalators or lifts from the lower level. You can also access it from the forecourt by walking up the slope, past the big St Pancras Renaissance Hotel entrance arch and through the second large open archway just visible on the right of the photo below.
