I ended up getting more done… some out of necessity boat was too heavy to get off the trailer on my own and some cause I got rolling! It started on Friday night… built an engine hoist out of some scrap wood and metal bits lying around. Ah well… it worked! With the motor off and stored away… got down to business. Got the seats, and sides removed.

The process for allowing flight training to continue under an amended certificate has stalled within the FAA; however, owners should not wait for that situation to resolve before amending their airworthiness certificate. If the deadline is missed, the aircraft will NEVER again be eligible for an airworthiness certificate! The amendment process is not a guarantee that an aircraft will be able to operate as previously certificated.

The process will remove any allowances for flight instruction or restrictions on maintenance required for flight training operations on the airworthiness certificate. However, the new certificate will allow the aircraft to be flown after the January deadline. This will also make it eligible should a process for allowing flight training operations be issued by the FAA at a later date.

It’s a skinny piece of wire that’s routed through the rest of the jumble of wires around the Arduino and The transistor and the coax pickup wire are on the other end of the proto-board at least a couple of inches away.

In the middle of Power/tach signal harness is a yellow and blue wire. If connect the yellow and blue wire together the back light in gauges will come on when ignition key is turned on. If the blue wire is connected to Navigation light switch on boat then the back lights will come on when light switch.

The boat has an intact hardtop and the bubble windows are still very clear. The hardtop is a tangerine color as well as the trim. I knew very next to nothing about these boats as I was hauling it down the highway after buying it. But I have come to find what a unique classic these boats are! jimh, I think from what I have learned from this thread I will hook up the 4 cycle tach and see if it will read the RPMs of my ’99 Yamaha C However I won’t be able to start the engine to check for a week.

Everybody either wants one or is trying to show that their ride is faster. The Hellcat is a bad ride, but taking one from the dealership to the drag strip may prove disappointing. You have to feather it and roll into the throttle to get traction. The only solution is bigger, stickier tires. The obvious solution is custom wheels.

The nice part about custom wheels like HRE is that you can pick your width, offset, etc. They also have side cuts and pockets into the back pad to minimize unsprung weight. They look sweet in Gloss Bronze; a shinier take on the original Brass Monkey finish on the factory rollers.

sorry about my late post but mine IS a manual tranny, 5 speed, I just not sure how to hook up my igntion wire from the tach to the car, I know I gotta go through the coil, but not sure HOW to go about it, My Cav. is a 5 speed, Ive got a body kit on it, exuast, intake and such, just need a tach so I dont blow it haha.

Wondering if anyone has problems with livewell spider cracks; this is the second time in shop for same thing. Seems to be no fix. Is it just my boat or are there more out there? Boat rides well, has lots of storage, ample deck space. Rod lockers will hold 8′ rods, has built in ice chest and large livewells. Boat will cruise at 60 in rough water.
